Important policy on private home investigations:
After giving it a great deal of thought, I will no longer do traditional investigations of private homes. However, if an individual contacts me about paranormal activity in their home, I will work with them in the following ways:

Consult through phone or email on what may be going on.

Give them strategies on how to document the activity and continue consulting if evidence is collected.

Do a home visit to rule out any natural causes and interview family members who have experienced activity.

Pray over or bless the home and/or refer the family to other professionals or clergy if desired
My main reason for this is there are usually too many people in the home to collect credible evidence (e.g., was that a ghost or grandpa's snoring?). Plus, family dynamics may play a role in the activity and me being there may very well stir things up even more. My goal is to empower families to take control of the situation for themselves. I believe this is the best way to help them rather than come in for a night, set up my equipment and try to talk to ghosts.
